High power single output
The CPX400S is a single output version of the best selling CPX400D.The ultra-compact design (quarter rack 3U) takes up minimum space for bench or system use.

Over-voltage trip
When in manual operation mode, the CPX Series has an OVP control that is set from the front panel (individually set per output on dual output models).
In bus controlled mode (CPX200DP, CPX400SP and CPX400DP only), this is replaced by a bus programmable OVP protection that can be set in 0.1V increments
Over-current trip
The over-current trip is available only on the CPX200DP, CPX400SP and CPX400DP models and is only active when in bus controlled mode. OCP can be set in increments of 10mA.
Individual DC output switches
The individual DC output switches allows you to set up voltage and current levelsbefore you connect to the load.
Surprisingly, many laboratory power supplies lack this basic feature, and require you to use the AC power switch for connection and disconnection.
Synchronous switching of both outputs
For dual output models, the Synchronous On/Off button is in addition to the individual switches for each output, and allows both outputs to be turned on or off synchronously by a single button press.
Synchronous switching of the outputs is of increasing importance for circuitry which can be damaged if one voltage rail is present without the other.
View Settings button
When the output is on, the meters show the actual voltage and current.
Pressing the View V/I Settings button enables the limit settings to be checked and adjusted at any time.
