Interfacing to every application, the PLH-P Series is the bus programmable version of the higher voltage linear regulated PLH series power supplies from TTi.
The PLH-P series includes all of the manual co
ntrol features of the PLH series, but adds comprehensive remote co
ntrol facilities. The ultra-compact rack-modular sizing makes it ideally suited to rack mounted system applications, while its user-friendly manual co
ntrols are retained for bench top applications. Digital Interfaces To meet the varying needs of today's engineers, a comprehensive array of interfaces is provided. RS-232, USB and LAN (Ethernet) with LXI support are provided as standard. Each of the digital bus interfaces provides full co
ntrol of voltage, current, and output on/off, plus read-back of voltage, current and status.

Command Set and IVI Driver
The basic command set for the PLH-P series is compatible with both the original PL-P series and the QL-P series. An IVI driver for Windows is supplied. This provides support for common applications such as LabView* , LabWindows* and HP-VEE* .
An RS-232/RS-423 interface is provided for use with legacy systems. This type of serial interface remains in common usage and is perfectly satisfactory for the co
ntrol of power supplies because data speed is not an issue.
USB provides a simple and co
nvenient means of co
nnection to a PC and is particularly appropriate for small system use.
A USB driver is provided suitable for Windows* systems.
LAN-Ethernet with LXI
The LAN interface uses a standard 10/100 ba
se-T Ethernet hardware co
nnection with ICMP and TCP/IP Protocol for co
nnection to a Local Area Network or direct co
nnection to a single PC. This interface supports LXI and is the most appropriate for larger system use because of its scalable nature.
The LAN interface is compliant with LXI-C. LXI is the next-generation, LAN-ba
